Sorry for bringing this topic up again but please explain to my layman's mind what makes the "best" IC the ideal one. Different cables have different resistance and capacitance ratings. Is there an ideal range or balance that one has to look for?
In my case, I want to change the RCA cables in my turntable's phono out. To make the problem more specific, would it be a good idea to use a shielded 22AWG RG-59 75ohm (22pf/ft or 72.16 pf/M capacitance) RCA cable to upgrade the stock cable of my Technics SL1200MK2 turntable?
Thanks in advance for your wisdom and guidance.
