ok na sir yang Philippians II bookshelf for a starter like you.
that is definitely way better than the audio gears you have mentioned above, better than what you have been used to. although it will be difficult for the discerning ears of audiophiles to rate the Philippians II bookshelf speakers as excellent,i believe maganda na sa mga starters yan. good details, clear sound, piano black nice aesthetics finish, bang for the buck.
if you are more serious on acquiring better quality speakers, nanjan naman ang Titus gold BS (12k sale price) or yung Apocalypse BS (14k cash price) kung tubes ang gagamitin mong amps. Other anthony audio speakers like Titus Gold Monumental (33k sale price) and the super Abram Speakers (225k sale price) have spectacular sounds which are for hifi shows level already but the price is already high.
ok na yang Philippians II bs, then if budget permits, try mo ipair sa anthony audio ezekiel subwoofer (10") worth 12k sale price, philippians sub (dual 10") worth 14k sale price, entry level polk audio subs or any branded low priced subs, but not Konzert subs (kc puro ugong lang yun).kung gusto mo low priced sub, puwede na rin yung US Audio sub 512 (12") priced at 8.8k or if not, just buy it in the future and not now (kasi mabigat sa bulsa pag sabay ang BS at sub).
after buying, enjoy first your entry level starter setup and this will be your entry to the wonderful hifi world.
hope this advice helps you.
