HANSS TECHNOLOGY The German made low friction ceramic/bronze bearing of the Hanss Turntables is placed vertically to minimize contact with the stainless steel thrust ball at the base of the bearing well to insure that a path to mechanical ground is provided. Its Platter weighing 20KG is made from 128mm (5.06”) thick CNC Aluminum and Anodized to increase its hardness, density, abrasion resistance and overall dampening abilities.
The T-30, T-60 and T-90 comes standard with the SC-30 Speed Controller with adjustable speed GRS System (Generate Rotate, Synchronize) which is a combination of clean regenerated power and precise measurement of the platters revolutions. Together the non-fluctuating power generated by the speed controller and the optical measurement system on the platter locks the precise speed and provides consistent rotation free from fluctuating wall power.
(Suspension) The Chassis is mounted on 3 adjustable magnetically suspended, resonance damping feet which, combined with the layered construction of the plinth, serve to eliminate external vibrations. Dual AC synchronous motors (T-30, T-60 and T-90) (custom made in the Czech Republic), each housed in its own massive aluminum, vibration damping, casing are provided. Each low resonance acrylic pulley (x2) drives 3 low tension silicon belts that provide speed stability, adequate start up torque and filter out any residual motor vibration.
(Plinth Materials) The chassis consists of a brushed anodized aluminum and black acrylic sandwich. The benefit of this design is in its increased damping, dissipation and anti- vibration abilities. The aluminum plates are also slow-baked to increase rigidity and resistance from scratching. All black versions are available at extra cost. Feet used are opposed magnets to provide an isolating spring action.
