Denon 1200W question on Volume
« on: May 10, 2016 at 10:20 PM »
Guys i just bought a Denon 1200W for my HT upgrade, this is my first time using Denon.

My observation was the max volume is 100 and I need to go to 70 to 75 to have a good volume for watching movies. between 0 to 40 parang wala ako marinig.

Ganito ba talaga denon? Parang nahihinaan ako.

I used to have a Yamaha rxv575 receiver for quite some time. changed it to an onkyo txnr646

I noticed na ung source and ung file malaking bagay sa volume

siguro for me check ung source (kung my separate volume) like for me mede8er.
ung file ng movie o music

ayon lang naman to sa aking karanasan

have not used the auto calibration using the mic sir.

Adjust the speaker distance and speaker size and volume relative to center speaker naman. And baka your using different speakers with your Denon vs when you were using pioneer.

Manual adjustment is key. My Denon 1200 doesn't go beyond 70. Mic calibration with manual calibration. I ended adding about 4db sa center and about 2db for surround and -1 db for the sub
