Seems unlikely for the Spurs to grant Kawhi's wish and to help a team like the Lakers. Malamang nga sa East ma-trade si Kawhi to a team with better assets and willing to gamble on his health condition plus the possibility that he might leave after a year (tama ba?).
Ang sigurado talaga, we've seen the last of Kawhi in a Spurs uniform.
EDIT: This scenario makes more sense for the Spurs, now that Manu and Tony Parker are in the twilight of their careers -
Woj: Boston gives Spurs best building blocks of assets -- one of young forwards (likely Jaylen Brown), its own 18 pick/19 protected Kings pick, etc.
That pick from Sacramento could be very valuable in next year's draft.
