May one year pa raw si Jordan Clarkson sa current contract niya with Cleveland, and after the 2019-2020 season pa siya magiging unrestricted free agent. So expect him to step up in his contract year. Baka gawing starter na siya with the Cavs - although Darius Garland is positioned to take away his minutes. Whether or not he will stay in Cleveland after his contract expires is another question.

This basically confirms, that some team/s will offer KD the max, even if he sits out the 1st year of the deal (ala Hayward) ............ WARRIORS, KNICKS, NETS, etc

KD could have opted-in, recover the whole of next season and be a recovered FA by the offseason of 2020.

KD wants to get paid ............ sa bagay he gave up millions during his stay with the WARRIORS.

tama lang decision ni KD. kasi kung nag opt in sya wala sya kasiguraduhan sa situation nya after surgery. pag nga naman multi year ulit makuha nya atleast maging bopols man sya 2yrs after ng surgery nya my nakaabang parin na contract.

I think it will work. LBJ hasn’t played with a young big man with exceptional two-way skills like AD. I also think the decision of LBJ to cede his jersey No. 23 to AD says a lot.

Again, the Lakers just need to choose very wisely in filling out that roster - starting with the next top tier (or second tier) player with their higher cap space.

Bitin pa rin yun 32M for Kawhi when he is eligible for at least 35M. Unless he agrees to a pay cut of 3M and lose 12M during the duration of the contract.

IMO the LAKERS should still go for depth with their cap space ............ mid-level FA's, serviceable bench rather than that 1 superstar.
