I saw in ANC News Jazz's Emmanuel Mudiay is also positive for the virus. That makes 3 Jazz players.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver confirmed that the suspension of the NBA games will last at least 30 days, and it's possible that the season will no longer resume.

Best case scenario, the league resumes after 30 or so days (Gobert, Mitchell, etc anyone else recovers) .......... Adam Silver can opt to reduce the number of elimination games, the playoff cast is more or less, set in the EAST.

Some protest might come from fringe WEST contenders e.g. PELICANS, SPURS, BLAZERS & SUNS - but the situation is unique and everyone should comply.

The good news, those teams with injuries ex. 76ers, RAPTORS, GRIZZ, etc can recover, for the best playoffs possible.

I really hope this season can be salvaged. Unlikely for the situation to normalize by mid-April, which is when the regular season schedule is supposed to end. But if somehow games can resume by late April or early May, I agree that all the teams should accept that the playoff seeding has to be based on the latest standings available. Or maybe in the West, since the race for the eighth seed is close, have the Grizzlies, Pelicans, Blazers and Kings play a Final Four type tournament to determine who gets the final seed. The NBA can also shorten the playoffs to five games for each round like before.

EDIT: Baka magalit fans ng Spurs

In the running din pala sila, so baka yung mini-tournament will be among the Pelicans, Blazers, Kings and Spurs, then whoever comes out plays the Grizzlies in a knockout game for the eighth seed.

I don't think the season will be salvageable ... lots of player and coach contracts are ending in June if I'm not mistaken ... I don't think the suspension due to lockdowns/quarantine requirement will end in the next 2 months (for the NBA and other major sports)
