Recap of today’s big trades:
* POR sends CJ McCollum, Larry Nance Jr., and Tony Snell to NOP in exchange for Josh Hart, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Tomas Satoransky, Didi Louzada and picks (protected first round and two second round)
* SAC sends Tyrese Halliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson to IND in exchange for Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, Justin Holiday, and a second round pick
End of the Dame-CJ era in Portland and start of a rebuild for the Blazers, as Lillard continues to recover from his abdominal injury and is unlikely to play significant minutes ROS (if at all). Currently 10th in the West, their play-in slot is not guaranteed.
While the Kings were going to be sellers by the trade deadline, Halliburton wasn’t expected to be dealt as he has been playing really well to be part of the SAC’s long-term plans. Meanwhile, Sabonis gets his wish to be traded and figures to boost the Kings’ playoff run.

In other major news, Bradley Beal is likely to undergo wrist surgery and will be done for the season. WAS is also expected to deal some players in the coming days.
