as great as Lebron is on the court, he sucks at being the GM of Lakers ... now they cannot really package a good trade as per ESPN commentators - apart from their big 3, none is being paid that high to be packaged for a trade

yeah...tapos walang ibang player na gumagalaw without the ball to at least cut, set a screen or even jump up and down hahaha. lahat nag aantay lang. The ball always manages to find Brodie in the dying seconds for him to take a 32% FG outside shot.  Why? He is left wide open by the opposing teams just for that reason. They love having Brodie take an outside shot.  The other day he was 3-20 yata.  Thats 17 misses.

Yes LeBron who declared himself to be the GOAT, is making excuses.  It's clear even when AD was playing, there was no team chemistry and the addition of Westbrook continues to not work.

NBA Shortens Protocol Timeline

Vaccinated NBA players and coaches who are asymptomatic can now clear quarantine after six days if COVID-19 testing data shows they're no longer at risk to be infectious, according to a memo distributed to teams Monday and obtained by ESPN.

The NBA and National Basketball Players Association agreed to the changes that will replace a protocol requiring league personnel to wait 10 days to test out of quarantine on a return to competition. The new protocol includes players, coaches, staff and referees.

Individuals also can still test out of quarantine with two negative results 24 hours apart.

when LBJ joined the Lakers, they need to win a championship ASAP w/in his 4-yr contract. no time to develop the young ones. yes, they traded away their future but in return they got a ring. I believe it's worth it. I think most teams will do the same, just to have a legitimate shot at a championship ring esp those who haven't won a single ring yet. if LBJ retires and they keep AD, they can still build around him. madami pa din gusto maglaro for the Lakers.

but for this season, I don't want to hope na muna for the Lakers haha. bad combination talaga si WB for them, plus a lot of new players and they can't seem to get the right chemistry.

Yes. The Westbrook contract is an anchor to their flexibility this year.  Westbrook will make $44.2 million this season, plus a $47.1 million player option in 2022-23 that he is sure to opt in.  he will be of value next year for teams looking to shed salary.

I don't think the trio of AD, LBJ and Brodie will work. Not this year and not next year.

While he has improved his jump shot, until now parang wala pa rin siyang go to move or signature shot.
