Anyone encountered a slight hum in 110v amps? It's not noticeable when music is playing but a bit irritating to my ears between tracks or when the music is on pause. Tips on how to get rid of it? Btw I already tried isolating it and it's really from the amp (a yamaha 2600 avr). The things I did so far was to ground the amp thru a wire connected to its chassis. I also connected the amp and the bluetooth module (how I play music from my laptop) to the same power source. No effect on hum.
Update on my problem:I tried a good quality 220v to 110v transformer, however the hum/noise is still present. I guess I just have to live with it. Anyway I can only hear it when no music is playing and when the office is totally quiet.
