Sana manalo si SGA this time.  Every time I watch the guy I am amazed of how easy the game is for him. Not a fancy player but all the fundamentals are just there.

Luka for me.  He has better numbers than SGA and is better at involving his teammates thru assists.  I think it's OKC's better record that's pushing SGA above Luka.

Watching Luka running around the court literally at half speed made me turn off the TV.  Sayang ang oras panoorin yung ASG

I never missed watching the all star games during the 80s to 90s. Now, its been several years, i don't even turn on the tv. Sucks so bad.

that is true.. ayaw na ma injure, because injury means a lot of lost opportunities and monies..

It used to be that the ASG was for the fans.  The mindset of the players was to represent their team and provide a competitive game for the fans be it the dunk contest, three point shootaround and the ASG itself.  The greatest player in the world #23 joined the dunk contest several times. He wasn't afraid to lose.  Larry Legend participated in the three point event multiple times as well. 

Now the ASG is treated as a break by the non All Stars and a weekend get away by the All Star participants.

Mas may effort pa ngayon sila in choosing the clothes that they will wear during the weekend. The ASG game itself?  zero effort

The In Season Tournament was a success.  They dangled money to the winners so yung motivation ng players andun.

Mukhang pera na rin lang yata silang lahat eh pera na din ang prize nila sa ASG but that would be bad for the NBA.  It sends the wrong message to the fans.

here is where I miss the likes of MJ and Kobe, Magic and Larry, Isiah and the others.....yang mga yan kahit scrimmage you can be sure that they wont give an inch.  Walang camera yun ha...nobody watching.   Hindi magpapatalo...period

its becoming more really like a circus. why not keep it the old way. wala na yung In-Tournament (for me very confusing gimmick na to), play 82 games, go 3 rounds to the playoffs, then finals. lot of cry babies today, a small hit, looks at the refs & complain. This is just me.

The NBA returns today, with the focus now on teams making a final push for the playoffs with only about a third of the season remaining.



In the East, it’s all about the Boston Celtics. Not sure if there’s any team that can upset them in the EC playoffs, given the issues plaguing the other teams (injuries for PHI, NYK; inconsistency for MIL). CLE looks like it can compete with their first five, but maybe not enough to edge Boston in a 7-game series.

In the West, the top four seeds are more or less set with PHX having a shot of getting in to have HCA in the playoffs. Have a feeling DAL will also go up the standings. The race for the play-in slots should be a wild one with both the Lakers and the Warriors in the mix.

I didnt even watch it hahahaha.  With LBJ nga they needed 2 OT's pa to win the last road game against the Warriors tapos kanina pre game they announced that LBJ wont play.  Talo talaga from the get go.
