Yup. he has the height and the skills but for now, DEN only needs him to rebound, play defense and knock down the three.  If you think about it, MPJ is sacrificing his game for the team success.
He is rightfully compensated naman but he might not be an All Star nor belong to the All NBA First or Second team because of his current role.  Same with Jamaal.  He plays a specific role in the team.  Jokic is the do it all guy for DEN.

agreed. but yun nga malaking adjustment din for him (and his ego) from being the main man to being the third option (I think Joker first, Murray 2nd) on offense.  and I respect players like that, yung willing to sacrifice something to become successful.

Yes. His draft stock crashed because of that lingering back injury.  DEN really wanted him and they had the time to have him heal up.  When he had another back issue that required operation, DEN doubled down and offered that massive extension.  Grabe tiwala nila kay MPJ.  Other teams would just cut their losses and trade him because of that injury.

Here's an interesting fact pa that should belong to the what could have been category....DEN drafted both Donovan Mitchell (2017) and Rudy Gobert (2013).  They traded both players on draft night to the Jazz.

IMHO, Klay is the key here. If he plays near 30points they always win. Pero dahil inconsisntent na sya mukhang end of an era na talaga. GSW = Splash Brothers. Pag walang splash walang championship.

may attitude problem na din yang si Klay eh, probably brought about by the frustration when he got injured and the reality biting him that he is no longer going back to his previous glory.

Just dont know if Steph would like to spearhead a rebuild or a re-tool.  For me hindi pa oras to rebuild eh...re-tool is the right approach. Steph still has it in him.  He needs help though.

Malabo yung paycut and acceptance ng bench role.  Sa nakikita ko ngayon he isnt even happy. Ego na ang papasok dito.  Imagine si Poole binigyan nila ng 4 year/128M, Wiggins 4 year / $109,000,00, Draymond 4 year / $100,000,000.  Hindi papayag si Klay na bigyan sya ng 50M for a 2+1 deal.  This is his last and final contract...he will need to maximize it before he hangs up his sneakers.  Sa Warriors man yun or kung saan man willing magbigay ng malaki sa kanya.

Currently, they are bleeding money as an organization.  They have to open their wallet pa to the pending free agency of Jonathan Kuminga whose contract expires after next season. Feeling ko lang Klay will show up sa playoffs.....they will not win the championship but he will show up and make his case that he is still deserving of a new contract befitting his status.  He will then choose the highest bidder and have the last laugh against the Warriors.
