Oo nga Brod dapat ay break in na yong speaker for 4 months kaya I'm bit prostrated. Halos naman lahat meron harshness pero mas obvious duon sa mga power voices gaya ng Air supply at Celine dion, pag dating sa matataas na tono. Kumpira sa lumang speaker ko na gamit ko for almost 8 years alang harshness akong narinig. Sayang nga at binenta ko agad ng mura. Di ko na magamitan ng XLO dahil di makatulog ang mga tao sa bahay.

Opened up the RS1 for a collegue who ask me to upgrade the crossover. Tweeter cap was replaced with mundorf silver in oil and mundorf silver/gold wire.

After the change, the hardness in sound was right away gone. Sound was more open, cleaner and clearer. Currently the speakers are still under break-in but my collegue is already very happy with the outcome.

The bass/mid driver is using plastic frame. The tweeter are quite small.

to me, story ends with a GS20 bro.
save up for GS20 if you have the correct blend of gears to drive this....its a game ender.
if you have a huge space for placement, a GS60 will conclude your journey just the same.

Guys, may bagong Gold series na. Hawig sa Platinum line. GX series afaik, nasa Audioworld kanina nakadisplay both bookshelves and towers. <drool>

This weekend's Hi-Fi show reminded me of listening to the RX6 in Audioworld's room in last year's show. The RX6 sounded really good its about time to re-acquaint myself again with its sonics hopefully soon

Oo bro. Mas maganda pa siya sa personal. Looks tacky sa picture yung stiffening structures nung diaphragm, pero sa totoong buhay maganda siya.

Yup may bookshelves din. Replacement ng GS10 yung maliit na BS na nakita mo. May malaki din ata sila.

Si RX2 has a tweet and 8"mid/bass, while si RX6 has a tweet, 6"mid/bass and 6"woofer......sa mga nakapag audition na dun sa dalawa - gaano kalaki ang diff sa sonics?

Hindi ba dapat talo ni RX8 si RX6? But I think I get your point - Im a little bit weary in knowing that the RX8 having dual woofers in a FS design might be a little too much.
