i am finally getting a Monitor Audio from a very good and kind hearted samaritan, its a walnut RS1 in avery mint condition, i hardly read this thread after having an idea how much this MAs would cost but I guess God smiled at me somewhere and spoke to this good samaritan. :) :) :) :) :)

Wow, this is excellent value. :) I really liked the MA Silver series with the Roksan gear in Audioworld's demo setup. Very lively and convincing presentation. :)

maraming salamat po sa inyo, after a long time search finally getting to experience this, read several threads about this one being compared to B and W 685, which i told myself only in my dreams can i get, RS1 was handsdown preferred over the 685 so i guess im getting a hell of a speaker.

It should.  Supposedly the BR2 is the match for the 685 even winning on some shootouts.

fact is, MA speakers are naturally bright and forward sounding. to enjoy them, it would take a hell lot of work.

made changes in my set up, RS 1 to Onkyo HT RC180 all i can say is Heavennnnnn

im so happy wiht this speaker 3rd in my list of best acquisition ;) ;) ;)

I am convinced... the RX2 are great speakers at any price. They are especially awesome in their price range. Very flexible, refined, detailed and clean sounding. :)
