hi superman, I changed my center speaker wires to the XLO VDO ER14. What I did was to pump up the center speaker volume level. But the downside to this is, when listening at loud volume the center naturally gets overemphasized due to its higher volume. I have yet to test it extensively though since I'm presently preoccupied with building a purely audio setup albeit with just an integrated amp so far.

Right now, I'm trying to decide whether to use the B4 or S2 for this setup. The B4 is a match, but I dont know about the S2. Will the bass of the S2 be adequate enough for music listening (mostly jazz, vocals, some r&b, etc..)?

it will be bro...you can't go wrong with the S2...but the B4's bass is "stronger" than the S2...but overall, i'll still recommend the S2...

I dont know about you guys but i felt quite uncomfortable seeing the tweeter of this particular S6 with its mesh off.

I am quite apprehensive doing this after, i think it was sir akyatbundok, who experimented with the broken tweeter of his mordaunt short speaker and ended up denting the tweeter.

Browsing through a magazine, I can't help thinking why MA never used the same speaker cones on its B center as the ones used in the B2 or B4 but instead they used the B1's cones.

They should introduce another bronze center that has the speaker cones as the B2 or B4. Btw, the B&W DM603 S3 and the DM LCR600 S3 as well as the KEF Q7 and the Q9c, both use the speaker cones for the fronts as well as the center.

So far, I haven't been impressed with it (b center). I was really impressed with the B4 and B2 since my previous speakers were bookshelf jvc component speakers and a pc speaker system (cambridge pcworks). I bought it (b center) to match with the B4s.

what happened to this theard?? parang lumipat na yung mga owners ng MA to different speakers a. anyways, i'm still breaking in my s6 but i'm not getting the sound that i want. I'm thinking it's probably the room's acoustics or wrong placement ng speakers. Don't get me wrong, these speakers really sounds good if you use its full potential, well at least that's what i heard from AudioWorld.

hans is correct!...the MA boys are still alive and kicking...as for me, i have no reason to upgrade at this time considering that i'm an S6 user already...i'd rather upgrade my front-end...or even my tubes and cables...don't worry, you chose the right set of speakers...thanks!
