Thanks to offshore manufacturing, we are enjoying  equipment that would be very price prohibitive if they were to be manufactured in the US or UK....

Seems many pinoy listening rooms are starting to sound british.  ;D

Jamo, short for Jacobsen and Mortensen, is a Danish loudspeaker company and Europe's biggest manufacturer of loudspeakers (bigger than UK's B&W). Perhaps, their oversupply of loudspeakers prompted them to dump their lesser known models which are now on sale at the 5th Avenue.  ;D

i think sound dimension offers the lowest price for the q1, ask mr. tuazon, you'll end up buying in sound dimension  ;)  before it sells for 17 to 19k (range) now it has gone down.

don't worry, tagal pa bago magkaron ng newer series of q

i agree, that 14.5 k price is the same as 4 months before when i auditioned the same and as it is, it is on sale na, from the 19k price tag.

mga gurus,

sino sa inyo me ganitong speakers, specially yung Q1....ganda rin kasi ng tunog, oks na oks yung mids to high's nya, although lacking ng konti sa bass....

meron ba dito na me ganitong speakers? ano ang review nyo dito? jazz lang kasi yung narinig kong pinapatugtog dun sa shop, iba kasi yung nagpapademo eh...

bro, if it's jazz, mas maganda yung q1 esp. on vocals compared sa b&w 601.  pero talo ng 601 'to sa bass response.  mas mababa pa rin yung b&w but you don't expect the q1 to have a better bass response because it has a smaller cabinet.  try mo sa sound dimension park square, may parating yata silang stocks ng kef.

Was wondering if any of you guys can recommend a pair of front speakers to match my Kef Reference Series Q90c. I am using a Yamaha rx-v750 and will use the speakers mostly for home theater since I have already a separate set-up for audio.
