is it better than the denon upscaling dvd players?
does it upconvert all videos(including those from the network)?

I am thinking to dispose my V800 (not with the "N" model) unfortunately.

I was told about this player last week by a HT technician in Shangrila. I just read the specs now and this thing can upconvert video to 1080i using component!

Where do you buy this thing and around how much is it?

I saw the Momitsu DVD-V880-DX model in the web site. Anybody sells this locally. Baka may importer dyan whom I can buy.

Sonny Tuazon said that you could find this player in HK. Pdvd member Dazed in HK told me that its hard to find this in HK because its sold only by very few dealers. I was not able to find this in HK , Sham shui Po & Mongkok area.

Available dito sa Singapore but sells like hotcakes and costs around 500sgd.

Great features such as Internet Radio, Divx streaming via PC and also able to play DVD ISO via PC.
Now you can upgrade the firmware via the Internet. There is actually a "Web browser" as well.

I think JT is pointing to the Momitsu V880N. Last time I checked, this would be almost Php 20k from the Singapore merchant.

I am thinking of disposing my Momitsu V880.
