It was connected to their Primare SS and sound was warm. I have not auditioned side by side with Ikon 6 so I can't compare the two. The last time I heard the Ikon 6 was when this was connected with their Audio Space.... which to me the combo did not sound right.... highs were a little too much. With the Mentor, no questions asked maganda narineg ko. I just dropped by to visit AA and did not really intended to audition the Mentor since I didn't have my CD aresenals for testing it whether I would want one or not.

However, at the same price range I would rather go for the entry level speakers of Living Voice. Their Living Voice Speakers just amazed me too much with its sound quality, imaging, and soundstage. Nasa inner room eto ng AA.

dali brothers help naman, I got a good offer for a Dali Suite 1.7 from a fellow PDVD, I was really hoping to complete a Mission setup(M52, M5C) + Onkyo 805. Will the Dali Suite 1.7 be better than Mission M52? Will be using the setup for 60/40 Audio/HT.

BTW, is the Dali Concept 6 same as Dali Ikon 6? What's the difference b/w the two?

pre kung ako ikaw, kunin ko na yang suite 1.7. pinagiisipan ko nga yan for a dedicated 2 channel set-up. Concept 6 lang kasi ginagamit ko ngayong pang 2 channel at HT. Heard the suite 1.7 for demo/audition at Archi Audio. "Detail" ang nagustuhan ko sa kanya. Plus oks ang dating ng "curves" hehehe
Kaso kulang pera ko at that time and target ko bumili ng 7.1 set-up na speakers. Ended up buying an all Concept series for my 7.1.

Concept 6(and the rest of the Concept series) is the only Dali assembled in China. All the others are Denmark made. Ibang iba "tweeter" module ng Ikon 6 sa Concept 6.

bro, thanks for the advice, medyo careful lang kasi ako and don't want to go wrong if I choose the Dali Suite 1.7 over Mission M52. Some of our fellow members here are really praising the Mission M52 for its good looks and being good for 50/50 HT/Audio performance including our daredevil sir matzer.

If I will abort my Mission setup then Im going with the Dali route by getting the Dali suite 1.7 first then the Ikon 6 later and making the suite 1.7 as my surrounds later. Hope this will be better than the Mission setup.

bro, advice ko. better listen to a Dali (whether suite or Ikon). Let you ears decide. Baka mas gusto ng tenga mo Missions kesa Dali. (May bearing din system matching saka personal preferences.)
Punta ka Archi Audio and bring your cds.(or anywhere else na may ganitong gears)

Missions are great on HT no doubt about it. Go for the m52 and build your all mission HT set-up, because timbre matching is important in HT.In the future if your are not anymore satisfied with the sound of your mission on music, then its time to get yourself a good pair of bookshelf speakers to be dedicated for pure audio listening only.Again, audio gear selection depends on the genre of music you are into.If you listen to rock/rnb/hiphop/pop, pwede na yan.But if you are into classical/audiophile vocals,instrumental, then getting a pair of speakers purely for these types of songs is a must. I havnt heard Dali's, but from the reviews of our local users as well as audio magazines, they have what you call audiophile quality.One is the Ikon6, but a little pricey.

Thanks for the idea sir, ituloy ko na lang siguro yung mission-onkyo HT setup ko. These are exactly my favorites: "rock/rnb/hiphop/pop" and less on audiophile tracks so I guess this HT setup will satisfy for now.
Then will have a separate audio setup tube cd-p + tube amp + musical speakers (Dali Ikon, Aurum Cantus V series, Castle richmond, or Dynaudio audience). Sabi nga ni master AV_phile, "separates/specialization is still better to get the best of both worlds". Sorry for the OT

Hi, I have the Ikon 6 for my fronts and the Vokal 2 as my center (surround & sub are non-Dali), and they sound great for HT.
