It's a Warner release. Maximum price if it's a 2-disc set is P895. Hopefully they'll offer it with an additional pre-order discount.

You won't be seeing inserts anytime soon. And it's not just in Region 3. All the studios are slowly removing them -- even from US releases.

What!? Sir, could you point us to publication stating this move by the studios?
Sayang naman kse nakakadagdag sa appeal ng DVD as collectible yung mga inserts.
Kapag nawala mga yun, and comparing the quality of "P" versions to some local legit case solutions...

ok lang walang inserts.What I really want from warner release is snap case for single disc and digipak for 2 disc.I really miss those.packaging palang orig na orig na.

No real article or press release re the inserts, but I've been told that during meetings. For very special releases and box sets, booklets are included. In general though, the traditional chapter stops insert is not a standard component anymore. In the same way, Warner's gradual shift to Amaray style cases is worldwide, so buying their R1s at R1 prices doesn't make sense anymore. Good example is Ocean's Twelve -- P495 for the R3, $28 for the R1. Same features, same Amaray casing, and both without inserts. But even if the R1 had an insert, the price difference is just too big.

What I noticed is that only the Disney titles have retained the inserts, even those recent Dreamworks R1 releases have no chapter stop inserts; Firewired is right, it's better to wait for the R3 releases most notably those released by Viva since at least those with transparent cases have a back to back prints indicating the various chapter stops...and it's a lot cheaper, for e.g. I' Robot was a steal at 250 pesos.

I don't know if the r3 release will have the same as r1 with comic book.

But there are some things to consider.
If the R1 is in digipak. No doubt I will get the r1 2 disc with comic book. But if the local release/r3 has comic book and the r1 is only in slip case. I might as well get the r3 release. But then again. The r3 release might not have the slip case. We will just wait and see.

Constantine will be released in 2 R3 editions this June 14:

Widescreen 2-disc version at Php499
Widescreen 2-disc Deluxe Edition which includes the exclusive collectible Hellblazer Comic reprinting issue #41 "Dangerous Habits" and a new Hellblazer short story. Comes in Amaray-style casing with a cardboard slipcase. Price? Php550!

Forget about the R1 and R3 HK versions. Details on the front page later today.

No need to worry about running out of copies according to our Warner contact. Their warehouse is going to be well-stocked since they're anticipating good demand for this title. Special pricing is part of their drive to convince local buyers to go for original Warner releases, so the Php550 SRP is not a limited promo.

It will mirror the other region releases.
