The Decameron - Region 1 and Region 2. The R1 version is a lot bette in terms of audio and video quality. And the removable subtitles are a plus.

I can't get rid of the SE because the Superbit Edition is bare-bones.

Can't get rid of the SE because I happen to like th audio commentary of this particular movie.

Maybe i'm OC, but I have duplicate copies of:
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Titanic
Godfather Boxset
Hary Potter SS
Harry Potter COS
LOTR and the a duplicate boxset (the one with the bookends)
Spiderman and a duplicate boxset...
and many more!!

I just don't get it!!!

DVDs come out as a special edition...after a few months, you get an ULTIMATE, a DIRECTOR's CUT, an EXTREME, a BOXSET with a 2nd Disc!!!, a CRITERION, a SUPERBIT, a 1.5, a....

what can be more SPECIAL than a special edition..grrrr

The Silence of the Lambs (Criterion and Special Ed.) and Apocalypse Now + Apocalypse Now Redux. If the rumored deluxe of this (including a Coppola commentary and his wife's excellent documentary Hearts of Darkness) ever appears, I'll be triple dipping.

I have the regular Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' and the Superbit Legends of the Fall, and am still considering getting the other versions.

same with me. I dont even enjoy to redeem the voucher for a discount with the extended edition since it's applicable only in U.S. and Canada.

I used to have Jurassic Park in VHS and VCD. Now only the DVD remains. Many other titles I now have in DVD started out as VHS, then VCD. Until I disposed of them one by one as I started my DVD collection.
