Mouldingo - In my view, your Denon AVR and the A35 are the best possible combination right now.

Kulang na lang talaga ang Panny BD30. Sayang.  ;D

I am sure that kung meron kang BD30, wala ka nang hahanaping iba.  ;D ;D

Actually my first choice for AVR was the Onkyo TX-SR875. Unfortunately it was taking some time to arrive, so I went for the Denon instead... :P :P :P

 I suggest getting the A35. Price wise, there is only a negligible difference between the two. The A30 and A35 can decode lossless audio codecs (Dolby TrueHD) internally and send it out via Multi PCM. However there are upcoming codecs such as DTS HD MA that both may not be able to decode full HD internally and need an external decoder or AVR. The A35 can bitstream lossless audio codecs for external processing.

I think Onkyo are still trying to fix the kink out of their 8xx series...that's why there is a delay from their manufacturing plant....

Denon are getting most of this market segment because of this.....hehehehe
