Sorry for the late reply, have been quite busy and toxic lately...

It is very difficult to recommend any cartridge (not needle) for an SL-1200 as this is subjective and will depend on your taste/music preference. Although the "safest" would be a Shure M44-7. As for the Superman Glow glass, "asiastreak" a fellow member here does this, Thanks!

UPDATED AS OF JULY, 2012

Finally had the chance (and the time) to update this thread. At first, I was quite hesistant to post however, I wanted to share most especially the TAS-Inspired Super-Lenco L75 w/c is the center of my system now. Other components have been updated as well. I can confidently say that I have found the combination and synergy I want --- NOW I have more time to really ENJOY THE MUSIC! Thanks for looking!
