The long-awaited, 3-disc Chicago will include the film in anamorphic widescreen video with both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 audio, audio commentary with the director and screenwriter, extended musical performances, song rehearsal footage, a behind-the-scenes featurette, the deleted musical number Class performed by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Queen Latifah, a VH1: Behind the Movie episode, 5 new featurettes (including Chita Rivera's Encore, From Stage to Screen: The History of Chicago, An Intimate Look at Director Rob Marshall, Academy Award-winning Production Designer John Myre and Academy Award-winning Costume Designer Colleen Atwood) and the film's 16-song soundtrack available on DVD (we assume this is a set-top, menu-selectable option).

Haven't got a copy of the previous releases...will definitely get this one...DVD street date 09/30/2005

correct me if i'm wrong but this release is only a compilation of features found in the OST LE, Japanese Release and the R1 release..

It does mirror some of the previous releases, compiled lang. I guess it's better than getting a couple of editions...

i like the idea of having the OST included in the dvd itself.. parang Ultimate Matrix Collection. if that's the case, double dipping is reasonable for this title.

but no triple dip for me for this one.

This edition of the DVD will be called "The Razzle-Dazzle Edition" MCS. You can check out it's cover art at thedigitalbits.com. Hope it's like the Korean version (if I'm not mistaken) with transparent plastic slipcase...sure buy if that would be the case...(sorry for the pun). And there's talk that the soundtrack will not be in CD format but a DVD with 5.1 surround. Crossing my fingers.

I already owned the previous release of this one, but since I'm into collecting movies with "Miramax Collector's" in it (English Patient, Rounders and the upcoming My Left Foot), I would definitely add this one... nevermind the double dipping, I'm getting used to it...

dude, 2 disc version na lang ang Chicago. 3rd disc was dropped.

Sorry for not modifying earlier...disappointing that the 3rd disc was dropped already. But still thinking of getting one. Any suggestions on what other version of this to get? (R1 & R3 lang...) Thanks guys.
