I have a pioneer dv515 bought 1999 and becoming more choosy specially on pdvds.  more than 50% of pdvds cannot be played and some rented  original discs. Even some of my old original discs were rejected. I want to replace it with a new one, preferably with built-in dd/dts decoder and can play all present dvd format, including the "P" ones.  Sacd or dvdaudio compatibility is a second priority. I want it to be branded and below Php10k.  Please recommend the best in this range.  Also, a very good audio is more important than a very good video.

One more thing, Is there anything that can be done with my old player? I mean, can that be repaired or upgraded to make it accept the new formats? Or even just eliminate its being "choosy" behaviour?

Thanks.
