got my 2nd copy at astroplus sm makati. dami pa nila stock dun

...i asked din for a poster,wala na daw.kasi inubos na daw nung mga nauna yung malalaki nila..hehe... they offer me din a free poster..yung maliit lang.parang bagong bago pa.

Pwedeng pwede na...binibigay na nga din sa akin yung display rack ng Batman begins dvd..hehe...pagililipat na daw nila yung laman.pero di ko na kinuha.. AND also a raffle coupon!

sir El zar....hmmm sayang i like pa naman yung standee nila..sana binigay niyo na lang po sa akin..hehe... wala na ngang poster dun.

I recently bought the Batman Begins 2-disc DE last Friday at Video City SM Sta. Mesa Branch. Viewed it at home right away. Wow, this is really not your conventional superhero movie. Kudos to Christopher Nolan for taking on a rather dark, psychological angle into the life of Bruce Wayne/Batman's character.

May problema nga lang ako sa binili kong copy. It's only a few hours ago that I viewed the special features disc. There was no option to display the interactive menu in English, so nahirapan akong mag-navigate throughout the entire disc. For example, I had to choose Chinese, so all the interactive menu options are in that language. Basta whatever is highlighted on the screen, I just clicked on it.

Posible kaya na mai-replace ko ang binili ko with another one that has the special features disc with English-language menu options? How am I going to explain my problem to the Video City saleslady?

That's less a thematic insert and more of a marketing brochure for their other titles. What I'm referring to are the film-related inserts that used to come with regular and SE releases. Inserts/booklets are still case-to-case with box sets or UEs but in general, they are phasing them out -- just like they did the snapper cases (worldwide) and digi-packs (R3).

Was able to download the Tankman Begins video. IMHO, hindi naman siya kawalan sa R3 release. It wasn't really that funny compared to the LOTR spoof. Kaya, satisfied na rin ako -- at least, napanood ko na rin siya.

By the way, has anyone noticed that the price sticker of the DE indicated that it included the "MOVIE ADAPTATION COMIC BOOK"? The local Warner office must have initially presumed that the comic book would be that of the movie adaptation comic book since it has the same cover as the actual DE comic book. Well, just a trivia....

I was in SM North EDSA yesterday. There were more than 5 copies each in both Astroplus branches.

or was it like this?

If the credit for writer and artist the same as the "red" marked above then Congratulations! You got the Erroroneous/Discontinued/Rare Comicbook Edition! else you got yourself the regular one, "blue" marked above

Where is this suppose to be located? The inside front cover of my DE comic book only says "BY BOB KANE", while on page 18, it also just says "by Bob Kane".

Had a disappointing experience at Video City-SM Cubao this weekend ... I asked them if they had the DE, they showed it to me, I approached the cashier to pay for it ... and then they stopped me at the counter because "IT'S RESERVED"

.... and there wasn't any other copy to be had in the whole of Cubao!

Grrrrr.

how come all the cover art look like they're from p*rated dvds? Actually, I'm pretty sure those are p*rated... my dad has that Batman Begins p*rated dvd...

huh...pakiconfirm lang po kasi medyo naguguluhan ako...
yung R3 DE na parang holographic yung pic sa cover na binebenta sa sg n sg$40++ e binebenta sa pinas ng 550 pesos??

i actually got the 2-disc WE when it came out, pero ang balak ko is bibili din dapat ng DE. kaso i went to astrovision pamapanga, sabi nila ubos na daw... hay.
