the initial schedule of the release was supposed to be September, but we don't know for whatever reason why the release did not pushed through.

Yesasia told me that the japanese version has japanese menus.
There's a region 2 at cd-wow at 190 HK$.

japanese dvds are among the top releases globally. what they lack in menu translations, compensate in the quality of package, PQ and AQ.

the R2-UK release, as posted in this forum has cuts.

I agree with the PQ and AQ of japanese dvds. However, the japanese menus are still an issue with me.
I'm not so sure if the region 2 has cuts. Maybe the lower running time is due to pal speedup--whatever that is.

I'll wait till january for the region 3 release nalang.

got the same problem with my Mummy Series DVDs in japanese. guessing game all the time. very difficult to navigate but very superior AV quality.

The good news? The Gladiator Extended Edition is already available at Astroplus Podium as of yesterday afternoon.

The bad news? The price is a whopping P1750.

Didn't expect it to be this pricey, considering that the Titanic SE is just going for P900. Video stores in Hong Kong are even selling this title for a much cheaper price. Should've gotten a copy while I was there.

I noticed that all the slipcases that arrived look trampled. Don't think there's a booklet or insert inside.

Tingin ko lang: marami nang aayaw dito dahil ang mahal. Malapit lang ang price nila compared with the R1 release. When is Magnavision going to follow Warner's pricing scheme or, at the very least, Viva's?
