General checkup sir and gave it a bath.  ;D

And integrated a speaker dalay/muting to eliminate unwanted turn on/off noise...

Hi mga sirs. has anyone tried playing lossless audios through airport express? How does it compare with the Dac 707? through airport express kasi you can play music wirelessly using iTunes dont know if there's a loss in quality or not.  :)

Unfortunately, I don't own an airport express but somebody posted before regarding that setup that plays lossless. Does the AE have optical and coaxial inputs too?

Yes sir. Im using a jack to connect it to my avr. So far Im happy using it coz of its wireless capability. Im just curious of the difference between the two in terms of sound quality :)

I find Macro shots very helpful in scrutinizing very small soldering jobs without straining my eyes. Extermely useful when checking for shorts...  8)

The best way to play lossless is by using the toslink/optical out of the Airport Express and using an external DAC.  Stereophile did a test and they did find out that the APX had a bit for bit correct output.  What I have is an airport express outputting to a musical fidelity VDAC then to my tube amp.  IMHO, even 320kbps AAC sounds so much like a CD I have not thought about going lossless.  At least until maging 1.5TB na yung HDD ng mga laptop. .  .

My quick and dirty KSC75 mod...

The usual victim, a CDR King P100 headphone. (I didn't had the time to test it as stock, too excited... :P)




Carefully remove the stock drivers with a screwdriver.




Likewise, remove the ear clips on the KSC75...




I was about to throw away the CDR King drivers when I noticed it can serve as reserve foam pads too...




And there she is!  8)





Excuse the crappy pics, excitement took the better part of me.  ;D ;D ;D

Congrats Jojo......you finally found the head band tweak ;D

Now you can really AB this with the P100/P200 including the head band... ;D ;D ;D
