Hey Brader thanks nga pala sa info! Sorry ha di na ako nakapag text...

We exchanged emails yesterday, very kind fellow and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, he is into selling his pre-made CNC and what I want was to design and build a more "purpose-driven" one exclusively for electronics applications.

He suggested that I study and learn the basics first, he's kinda skeptical regarding the motor electronics and pc integration and said that it was the hardest part of it all. Buti na lang may kaunting alam tayo sa electronics.

On the bright side of it, nakita ako ni boss while surfing CNC sites and he was also interested in the DIY side of it. To my surprise, the office will fund the project. Ok diba?  8) 8) 8)

And with the hopes of getting my feet wet, I'll have my opto-isolated parallel port breakout board, nema23 stepper motor and pwm digital stepper motor drivers by next week.  :D

This time SMPS naman ang gagamitin natin power supply, wala naman siguro soundstage na maapektuhan sa project na ito...  :D :D :D

This is a nice website with very good insights from the founder.  This is a good read...especially if one can get a copy of the "Who Moved y Cheese!"....... I know a have a copy somewhere.  If any one is interested I am a pm or text away.
