This is for brothers Cal, Joey, Tirso and also to Fr. Jim:

Got the opportunity to visit Ka Jo a few hours ago and personally witnessed this BEAST of an amp in action. The first thing I asked: Where the is the darn subwoofer? It's not turned on and only a pair of Wharf bookshelves were singing.

Well, I don't think I heard the Wharfs can sound that big. Partida pa yun, according to Ka Jo, he is still fine tuning the sound. BTW, the compact passive preamp was used so the sonic signature is really just the amp.

I don't know if I'm fortunate for not really having extra dough to get myself a unit right now, because if I do, I sure will have shell it out for a piece of that BEAST!

  With your info, you made me feel the need for a DIAPER!!!! :D :D :D :D ....I was told that this amp is a  Krell/ML/Ampzilla rolled into one! Then what would be the inherent sonic character of this BEAST? Got to hear this one also!!!  8) 8) 8) 8)

I just wouldn't like to see a situation where the baby sitter becomes an abductor. No, that's just a silly and sick joke!

I wish brothers Joey & Cal should hear how this amp performs in their own listening rooms. BTW, I failed to mention that the build is robust and simply gorgeous and quite heavy (the toroidal is very heavy too).

I'm glad you liked what you heard, in fact, you are among the very first ones to hear it. I'm thankful for your comments which confirmed my initial findings.

What you heard actually uses the crude "Luxman" way for the cascode devices, which in reality is just a simple resistive divider. You should hear it again when I adopt the "Accuphase" way for the cascode reference voltage and constant current mirrors.  ;)

di ko alam kung ano yung pinaguusapan nyo na beast at amp basta ako eh alam na ni jojo ang iniintay ko, i have never been a believer with power amp although i have made known to him im salivating sa emotiva but he simply said just wait, so im just here waiting, para lang akong is richard marx hehehehe

sonny buti ka pa at narinig mo na in the flesh, just got me reminded tagal na apla nating di nagkikita kita isang taon na yata.

This is far too much for the Harbeths brader... actually, the F5 is more than enough, but the F5c is roomier.  ;D

pwede natin gamitin road map ito para sa atin HT mono amps brader! kaya nga nag testing na ako agad ng prototype para magkaalaman na.  ;D pogi nga lang ang emotiva, pero pag dating sa laman loob kaya natin higitan yan brader.  ;)

inaantay ko lang brader ang tawag mo kung may ma sasampolan na tayo para ma plano ko na din ang aking salapi, mahirap na baka bigla kang tumawag na ready for pick up na tapos wala na pala akong bala hehehehehe

tony, hopefully by mid April meron na sa store. as of now no, sa store lang pwede makabili kasi straight shipping yan from board manufacturer to our distribution office in US and Europe. only 2 pairs of boards are going straight to the office.

unless there is a significant number of local interest, say, 40 boards up then I can make some arrangements.
