Nice to have soft start brader, but not really nec. since vacuum naman yung iooperate nya. Current draw minimized will be very good for the lines though.
Hehehehe

Brader linawin ko lang, it's about 7 seconds for the vacuum to shutoff after the power tool has been switched off right? How about during switch on? Ok lang sabay na sila once the autovac senses the power tool?

Tama yan.  Give your body time to rest and heal.  Mas mahirap ang relapse.

Mismo brader! As for the remote....

Problem: My Skil 1827 did not come with a vacuum attachment accessory, I think it's sold separately but nobody seems to have one.

Solution: Fabricate and DIY

Made this from a piece of 1" PVC, heated it on the stove and straightened a portion of the pipe.

Drilled a couple of holes that corresponds to the supposed to be holes for the vacuum attachment...

And it fits quite nicely... hope it works though...

Cheers

Nice work Jo, consider adding a plexiglass shroud to concentrate the suction better....

Thanks Timbs. I can do that... actually there is already a dust shield in front, so all I need to do is one for the back and it would be complete.

Cheers

I can now run my vacuum automatically, focus my attention on the work in front of me and the power tool in my hands. 8)

Runs with my router, circular saw and orbital sander. Even the darn hand drill can trigger it. ;D

WIP for today... my FJJ project...

laser cut template, 1/2" finger to finger

preparing the beam ala Leigh R9

screwed a sacrificial layer to the beam...

opening up holes for the f-clamps to go through...

attaching the template to the beam... screw holes countersunk to maintain a flat template to router contact...

put in an offset equal to one finger on the right side, squared and screwed...

screwed and squared the left stop...

test piece...

Now I understand kung bakit ang dami mo router brader. ;)
