Note: Video taken using my old Canon A610. Unfortunately, the A610 has an audio AGC (auto gain control) when recording videos so the change in volume is not that discernible in the video.

Awesome. Applied agad ah. How small can you get the arduino package to be? I assume it can share power with the audio device. Jizz-tastical!

Got the cable na from and old Canon printer na nasa storage room na  ;)

Brader, after 4 listening sessions averaging 2hrs each I can say there's nothing in the sound of this DAC that I don't like, kaya pala nito up to 384khz sample rate  O0

Computer audio has never sounded this good for me. With my ESS9023 DAC may digital sheen, may "talas" ang tunog, not on this DAC. I'm now a believer of AKM DAC chips.

Brader, kapag natapos mo yung preamp project mo for this DAC let me know, interesado ako  >:D

Siyempre naman bro, I build things I like to use myself. If it's not good enough for me, it ain't worth sharing it to other people. ;)

As of now I can only use the pdip package so it ain't going to be that small, but maybe in the future I can also use the smd package of the chip, that means smaller footprints.

It can take power from the DAC but I decided to have a dedicated one for it. Besides it uses a motor to turn the pot so I don't want my music having possible stray noises.

It's the product of working closely with the owner to get the desired finish. Rendering is easy peachy with i5. ;)

Naku brader hindi ko pa nasisimulan, may tinatapos pa akong diy buffet table for the wife. Nakahingi ako ng slab of mahogany trunk from a tree in our village that was brought down by Glenda last year. It will be a nice remembrance from that typhoon, binayo kami ng husto, dumaan ang mata sa area namin  ;)

that really is a nice picture of the ebonized wood brader. Lauan or tanguille are good species to ebonize, unlike pine which is sappy and tend to blotch. One happy new owner with a good sounding as well as good looking new toy.... congrats

Thanks brader, the repeated wet sanding paid off. Medyo elbow grease lang but it's well worth it. I think meron sa hardware ng Ninang namin yan tanguille but di ko lang pinapansin. Siya ba yun parang pink brownish ang kulay? Puro kasi rough yun nandun.

I get to practice a lot with pine, it's sappy but not blotchy anymore as I now understand the tannins. I will try tanguille soon, thanks for the tip brader. ;)

Most of the credit for the color combination goes to the owner brader. The rest goes to JB. 8)

It took several months bago naputol into planks yung mga tumumbang puno. The home owner's assoc commissioned a couple of woodworkers from Tagaytay to turn the lumber into furniture na ilalagay sa clubhouse and admin office & matindi auditing nila sa kahoy  :P

Nagkataon na malakas ako sa property manager kaya nakahingi ako ng 1 slab, I was planning to make speaker baffles out of it sana kaso nagustuhan ni misis kaya ginawa kong table  ;) >:D share ko sayo pic later on.

Nagkuha pa kayo ng permit sa DENR brader? When a huge and old Acacia tree fell last Glenda here we have to get a permit pa from Glenda. Nakakatawa nga, cleanup na lang kasi natumba na yun puno and still it requires a permit. ;D

Maganda kaya gawin knobs yan brader? >:D
