That's a nice plan. If the size suits your space, go for it. But if you need a smaller one ,the pensil box design for 2 drivers is the recommended box build. I have the dual driver design which was not publicly published.

And another thing in the pensil design, if you are not going to use local plywood or MDF, you will need to ad bracing to stiffen up the box. Mine was made of birch ply and did not need for bracing. But having braces is always an advantage.

I'm not aware of a dual driver Pensil design, kindly send me a copy please. Real estate is always precious so I'm weighing my options. Thanks

I have access to MDF but I'll probably go with local plywood. I haven't setup my table saw yet so I still have a lot of time to do research. But I really want to put the MA drivers to work already.

Technically speaking, nothing that I'm not aware of. Sonically, it's a darling.

Great!
When you start your build, also post the progress at the MA thread.
Good Luck.

Turning scrap wood to something useful so I tried making corner clamp guides.

Glued the two pieces of scrap boards to make it thicker...

CNC to the rescue

Applied some wipe on poly  8)

And it works great.

Sad that LTO/DOTC banned the use of these plate covers. At least I got to make 'em into a circle cutting jig for my trim router. 8)

Will you still put acoustic material inside Brader Jo?

Of course brader, but initially the sides will be covered with acoustic material for the purpose of preventing any internal reflections.

This will be a break-in box, not just for the drivers but also for me. I haven't done any speaker enclosure in quite a while.
