It was powder coated together with a batch of my chassis. But you can buy those wrinle paint in most auto paint shops, a shop along Mindanao Ave sells it by the pint for less than 200 pesos. They also have those VHT spray cans if you don't have an air brush.

thanks Jojod for that info!...malapit lan pala sa amin...can u pls pm me the place and possibly contact phone nos :)

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with the shop's name but it is quite near the HBC building (Quirino ba o Tandang Sora, nalilito na ako). There is also this shop (I wasn't driving eh) along Visayas ave, puro paints, pwede pa mix your very own color, try your luck na lang in finding it since madami naman auto paint supply shops dun. Sorry if I'm so stubborn with directions.

Cheers

Bullet,

It's good to go.  8)

Tony,

Aside from a small offset problem (just needs adjustment), power supply problem and the usual board corrosion. 100% ready na din. Grabe bigat yan gas, pero ganda tumunog.

Cheers to all

Hi JojoD,

I am interested in this project as I have 2 stock T-amps to which I want to have it modified.  Kindly PM me how much it would cost me for both the Tube preamp and the Bi-T-Amp.

Nice job.

JojoD,

Nice talking to you last night and sorting out some major project items in this project.

I will be sending via LBC the 2 stock SI t-amps within the week and let's proceed with the mods for a battery powered bi-Tamp.  I kinda liked the battery power idea which is also similar to the well reviewed Signature 30 Amplifier by 6moons. -
Link:  http://www.redwineaudio.com/Signature_30.html     AND         http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/redwine4/30.html

Also, let's pair this with your tube pre-amp.

Regards,

JoeyGS

Hi,

That should be fine so I can still finish up on other projects. I'll update you as soon as it arrives.

The Sig 30 looks cool, a lot of the guys have been into battery powered amp since last year. Btw, will find time to think about the bypass switch at the back.

Thanks,
JojoD

bumblebee,

i work in thailand. pina mail ko lang to sa hotel ko in bangkok. the cost of the chassis is 700 baht + 100 baht courier. arthon gave me the pricelist for local purchase. google mo nalang ang conversion sa baht to peso. daming out of stock sa inventory nya. meron akong list sa available chassis if you want to know. maganda ang packaging nya even delivered only in bangkok. like the testimonials, it sure can withstand during shipping. siguro mura lang ang shipping to pinas kasi magaan lang (all aluminum) and wala din siguro tax kasi chassis lang to.

Thanks, GneW.

700 Baht? That's Php900. Sa pricelist na bigay nya sa kin, $30 yung 735U.

bumblebee,

mura lang talaga ang presyo ng chassis if bought locally at baht price. mataas na yata ang presyo sa mga international buyers. the local bank exchange rate in Thailand todate is US$1= 34.7 baht, so lalabas lang na mga US$20 ang 735U.

Jojo,

Can you please pm me the transformer specs on this project? Especially the two 9V taps, the POWER ON LED just went out on me and I unsoldered it and tried the LED on a 3.6VDC circuit and it worked, am getting erratic reading on the series resistor that you used (I thought Yeo's circuit ask for 12V and I am getting 10.3VDC under load).

Since I don't want to disassemble the PSU yet, can you also PM me the resistor and capacitor values on the PSU filter (the B+ and on the 12V going into the DAC).

I would really appreciate these information.

Thanks,

Alex
