Tried removing the tweeter grill. More sparkle on the highs, extended and crispier. Am not quite comfortable without it on as protection, got a 5 yr. old daughter na medyo makulit so I put it back. I just listen, without the metal grill speaker cover.
Will try to home audition the clone stand sometime if WattHiFi permits, but no need to hurry. The M12.2 looks handsome on my 24 in. gray colored tubular sandfilled pair of stand.

Thanks for your advises.

Bro agree with the tweeter grill mas ok talaga wala.

I wouldn't say one wins over the other. These speakers may react differently when matched with different gears.

Heard both in my system. They were brought over by friends. To me, they are at opposite ends. I prefer the M5s for audio with my gears. Very musical and involving.

You should audition both (better w/ your gears) and decide for yourself if you are in the market for either.

Used to own a 602S3.  The M12.2 I heard sounds better, is more musical, has a deeper, tauter bass, was more relaxing to listen to and was more laid back and had better depth. At almost twice the price it should be better and indeed it is.
