updating the new iMAtZ Theater:

I recently upgraded the 5 speakers
The center speaker is bi-ampable so ALL 3 FRONTS are now BI-AMPED!!!
All 3 speaker's HF goes to HK630 and all LF goes to Rotel power amp.
AWESOME talaga sa HT & music, with over 200w of power being generously pumped into each of the 3 channels, the difference in music and HT is quite obvious (more than obvious actually)!

In action. I couldnt get a decent shot of the PQ w/ my digicam. Actual PQ is way better than this.


M52 floorstander with real wood, gold binding posts and leather backing. I love the space age look of the acrylic.
I have been drooling for this model since I started HT, I just couldnt afford it before so I never auditioned it.
I finally auditioned it last month and look what happened  .

Same series M5ds bi-polar surrounds. They were much bigger than the M7DS surrounds so buti na lang nag fit.
All U.K. made na yung 7 speakers ko! Yipee

The spades are from Raon.
Actually on normal lighting conditions, the wall and the speakers look like they have almost the same finish. Bagay na bagay nga. Pag picture lang medyo nag-iiba yung shades nila, I dont use flash kasi.

Sabi ni new age nag bagay naman daw yung gray acrylic sa carpet ko, hehe.

Thanks  . Sarap nga talaga bro! Mission passes my standards sa HT, music and even aesthetics! Madali pa i-drive, you wont need to spend an arm and a leg for the amps/ AVR.

I heard a setup with a P200+k avr and P100+k speakers in an AV store and IMHO I feel that my economy setup is not far from what I heard there. And I only spent less than a third of the cost. Thanks to bi-amping and system matching (na tsamba) w/c is very important.

For now, I brought down my Tube setup to the main HT room bec. it sound better with the room acoustics and the M52 . My bedroom acoustics sux  .

For some ethical considerations, I cant mention the price  . Teka, ikaw nagturo sa akin nito ah! 

Yup, certified couch potato and homebody na ako. Ayaw na lumabas at manood ng sine. Di na ako mahanap ng barkada ko, lagi may excuse para sa bahay na lang ako, haha!

Actually, dumating friend ko from Canada na mahilig manood ng movies. So we watched movies here a lot for the past 2 weeks rather than go out. He called me "CRAZY" after he saw how much I put into this hobby (renovation, bi-amp and separate audio setup), I defended it as "PASSION", haha. Super mahal daw kasi (becuz of Labor) sa kanila (north america) yung renovated HT na ganito.  Sabi din ng uncle ko sa U.S., consultation pa lang YARI na ($2k).

Syempre, ikaw nagrecommend ng spades, so susundin ko. Kayo ni Joel ang audio guru ko. 

Binaba ko lang yung audio set up to the M52, just like when you visited. Ang layo kasi ng ginanda ng tunog dahil sa acoustics and speaker compared sa (bare wall) kwarto ko. Di ko rin malakasan yung volume sa bedroom cuz andyan lagi yung baby at si missis .

Nabenta na bro, and masayang masaya yung nakabili. Malaki daw difference sa dating speakers nya, sabi nya parang nag upgrade sya ng amp sa ganda ng tunog.

Yes, Mission suits my listening taste (clarity). Not only is it good in HT and music, but it also looks great and fits my budget. Na try ko na Dali Ikon (auditioned it 4-5 times) but its not to my listening taste. I have auditioned many speakers over a period of 6 months and when I finally auditioned the M5 series at spectra, it just took my breath away (and my wallet too  after a few days).

When I was auditioning it at spectra, some guy who was supposed to buy EPOS bookshelves (+10k more expensive than Mission M5 bookshelf) heard the M51 with me and he changed his mind about the Epos. I think he bought the M5 instead.

Thanks idol! But Lexicon is simply out of reach for my powers and the cost alone is contrary to my HT mission statement as stated by oweidah a few posts back
