was planning to pass by mega pa naman today to check the dvds if they were included in the sale...oh well....will jaz check out astro glorietta later at lunchtime to check if batman begins is already on stock

sayang talaga! on the other hand, there aren't that many new titles anyway that would be included. mostly nabili na during the Podium sale.

Ganon din ata sir like sa Astro Mega and Podium. They're trying daw to dispose of their VCD stocks. Went sa Mega, Galleria and Podium last night.

came from Mega... puro VCD sale sa Astro but sa Video City may minor sale... some 895 dvds are on sale for 475 like the Martix Reloaded & Revolutions and Harry Potter titles... saw Batman Begins but no Deluxe Edition yet

Yup, I could confirm jecjeck's statement above. A total waste of your time if your target are bargain DVDs. But for VCD hunters, it's another case. Maybe a new board - PinoyVCD???

For those looking for The Three Musketeers (Disney cartoon movie starring Mickey and Donald), I saw R1 copies at the Video City stalls in Megamall going for Php299 a pop.

Batman DE, maybe Wednesday pa raw as per the saleslady in Astro Galleria.

sayang, both astrovision / astroplus mega and galleria aren't including DVDs in their sale.

I passed by Astrovision Galleria and they are actually placing on sale most Warner DVDs. Most single discs (including Matrix, Swordfish, etc) are just P299, and the two-disc titles (Matrix Reloaded, Revolutions, Harry Potter DVDs) are P475.

just came from astroplus makati. bought myself several warner titles at P299. sabi dun ni willie they will have a grand sale for their anniversary this coming oct 26 til end of the month. FYI lang. dont know though if this would be a simultaneous sale with all other branches of astro since sabi din sa mega they will have a big sale also by the 26th of october. sir firewired pls confirm so that my bago tayong thread. thanks

anyway, i have seen Unbreakable still on sale @299 last weekend in SM Harrison record bar and SM Manila (parang sa record bar or Odyssey). drawback: it has no DTS unlike Signs and Sixth Sense, plus halos walang features yata... hope this helps

I have watched this in R1 THX version and it didnt have DTS too.

According to an Astro Plus staff I spoke to yesterday, there will be 'another' mallwide sale at Podium this coming Dec. 9 to 11. No information yet on the DVD discounts/prices and if new titles will be included in the sale.

i was just at The Podium this evening, a lot of DVDs are piled on the floor and unfortunately i didn't see any new titles (especially Disney's). most of the sale prices are at P375 and some at P299. i hope they include some new titles in time for the scheduled sale date. i'm personally looking forward to National Treasure - i hope they can re-stock this title.
