well kidding aside, you have a 'great' setup. specialy the Mission logo blue glow. and the diffuser(is it?) at the back is awsome. i always wanted to have that. looking forward to see your on the making HT room... padinig ha!

thanks. yung framed fiberglass was supposed to be absorbers....nabasa ko lang sa internet nun pa...there's also sa side (kung saan yung point of reflection papunta sa listening position.....i'll post it din). and acoustic boards sa ceiling..

ngayon ko lang nalaman blue glow mga logo.....

thanks thanks....dami na inputs....minsan kakalito how to treat the room.....bought na a roll of fiberglass (iwas lang to have a dead room)....and thinking of having a book shelf as diffuser..........and oh yes the wedding.....buti my fiance mahilig sa movies and hates moviehouses (coz of movie commentators).....madali WAF kapag me upgrade...hehe..., basta matzter, idol ko HT room mo, kahit maka 50% lang ako sa performnace and appearnce, ok na ako.....

just to give an update, more or less, renovations gonna be complete more or less by third week of january, just in time for us newly weds to occupy it. walang plano nagawa dito coz minor renovation lang. i'll be posting pics pag natapos na ang painting and when room treatments are being done. i'll just be using fibeglass covered in "ponti" fabric as absorbers. dvd/book shelf hanging at the back facing the screen will act as diffusers. this is also where i'll be placing my pj. dvd player will be placed in front of sofa..para umabot yung 5m hdmi cable. it will run under the carpet and through the backwall. the room is 16 sq meters, kaya medyo maliit.

i have two concerns, me dalawang window ang room, and i'm gonna need to cover them with thick curtains/drapes. dko pa alam kung gagamit ng two seater or three seater na sofa...and will be shopping na for a carpet. thinking rin if i'll do the set-up myself or patulong sa mga pro...as sgt suggested. within two weeks i'll be posting the pics. malaking inspiration ang matzter's den in my set-up. thanks in advance guys.

Get a bigger sofa if possible, chances are you wont be the only ones watching here when its done. Your relatives, specially the kids would be so happy watching here

. If there is space behind your sofa for additional seats, so much the better (for your visitors, like other pinoydvd members in AC

).

In our case, we designed the HT room (and sofa) that way even if the space was just limited to only 12sq m. Its a pleasure to share your Ht to your good friends and relatives. For me, mas sulit yung HT and specially your DVDs when I share it by watching it with close friends and relatives. Specially the KIDS! naku mga iba ayaw na umuwi!

For your drapes, 2 layers of dark colored curtains would do the trick. I didnt want to spend some P10K plus for custom made curtains so I just bought ready made ones that were on sale.
