Considering that this release was already a very good value at P900 and it seems that it failed to sell as they are already discounting it, it seems that there is little support here locally for quality dvd releases.
got my copy yesterday at radio city galleria for P550.
A word to other studios: If Titanic DE couldn't be disposed at P900, who'd they expect to buy their Gladiator EE (P1700) and Jurassic Park trilogy (P3200)?
Hey this was a great buy at P550, nice digi-packaging (if there's such a word) I wouldn't be surprised if the price goes even lower though, as I see a whole lot of these everywhere. The haunting musical scores still gave me goosebumps after all these years
hmmm.. how much yung Kong agan?
Well, yung Star Wars 1 and 2 sellng for 899 when they were released are now only 299. And so many other titles selling for close to 1T now sold at 299 or 350. Diyan din lahat ang bagsak ng mga yan after about a year languishing in the shelves. Actually, a few years back in a other forum, I learned it only cost around $2.00 - $2.40 to mass produce and package an R1 DVD title, depending on the volume, among others, inclusive of overhead. Kaya nga sa sale price na P299 tubo pa sila.
Got it from the digitalbits, there seems to be a problem with one scene as shown by this picture.
... w/c reportedly occured at 1:19:19 on the r1 release...
Does the R3 have this problem?
Looks like the P350 sale last year finished off their stocks.
