Any word on whether this will be released locally? Resisted buying the bare bones edition since I knew this was coming.

Sin City was released by Dimension Films in the States.

Dimension Films DVDs are released in the Philippines by C-Interactive, "The Video to 'C'."

I'd think twice about buying it if and when you see an R3 version in stores in the country.

I'm thinking of ordering this title online. Is the recut dvd really good? or should i settle for the first release. double dip na naman.

I ordered mine from the Amazon.com last week hopefully it would arrive here on the 1st week of January or last week of December. WOW another Crappy-Interactive release? Damn those a-holes!!!

just got my copy although i haven't had time to see it what with all this christmas hype all over.
comes with a comic book that is extra thick ha and the packaging is in black with the sincity logo embossed
in red. it also comes in with the original theatrical version which clocks in at 124 minutes and the recut version
that clocks in naman at 147 minutes. looks promising.

It's R3. It's on a slipcase, but no book. It's also dual layer. The picture quality is great, better than Batman Begins.

got mine na din in hongkong. r1 thank god. the features are awesome. it did come with the book but i already have the hard goodbye. sayang. but very very great dvd.

was not able to resist the temptation so I got this title. Arguably one of the best releases last year. only thing is the 27 minute extended cut is a little misleading, the 27 minutes include end credits for each segment. So if your looking for the extended scenes/deleted scenes you might be disappointed, otherwise still a good buy...

I think it was not misleading and I found the conversation of Marv and his mom quite funny.

Medyo off topic, but the special edition hardbound, leatherbound boxed set of the first four books of the Sin City series is now available at Powerbooks for 11,000 bucks ++.
