You are so right about that...! Nakabili nga ang mga kamag-anak ko ng LOTR FellowShip & 2 Towers on VCD format. The Fellowship copy was really bad. (skips & pauses, skips & pauses) I rented a VCD copy of Insomnia released by C-Interactive, and I was furious as hell by the way it skipped and paused while it was playing on my VCD player.

Nope, sorry. I'm just a consumer who goes to Astrovision branches often and buys more DVDs than normal.

To answer both your questions:

Desperate Housewives had a Touchstone logo on it, so I'm guessing VIVA. The packaging is very different from the R1 - it's a white slipcase (with the same picture as posted) with 7 slim cases inside. It had a lot of listed special features on the back, including deleted scenes, but I didn't look at it long enough to notice if all the features are identical to my R1.

Yes, King Kong: Peter Jackson's Production Diaries is a Magnavision release. Umm... the entire boxed set is a special feature, since it's composed of little on-set snippets, so the only additional "feature" you get is an introduction by Peter Jackson.
