This may be due to the fact that most digital amplifiers out there are low-to mid powered.  Its linear operating range is limited and you get large distortion in the  higher volumes.  So a modestly sensitive speaker often found in most commercial entry level brands may not sound good with them.

Has anybody bought a T-amp?  If so, is it really as good as they say it is? (just as good as high end amps) Does anyone know where one can be bought locally?
