BRISBANE, January, 6 2005 – Monster® has just release Monster THX™ certified loudspeakers as the first of a complete line of Monster Home Theater Music™ sound systems. (visit www.MonsterCable.com/THX).

Noel Lee, The Head Monster assembled a topnotch engineering team to create an affordable line of loudspeakers that not only pass the rigorous THX Certification process, but have a design style and high gloss finish that is usually reserved for only the highest end speaker lines. Monster THX Select Certified Speakers are designed to combine the highest quality movie watching and music listening experience in one system.

I always thought neodymium is a rare-earth metal.  That's what I learned in chemistry.
I probably misinterpreted the description of the tweeter:

1" free-air neodymium tweeter

they use a 1" silk dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet. they look more like OEM's, the manuals don't even have the freq. range.

In that case, this makes the Monster speakers
more like 'Wharfedales' than 'B&Ws'.   ;D

The description should have been:
1" free-air silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet;  rather than:
1" free-air neodymium tweeter.

I must admit though that the Monster speaker tweeter does
sound more 'exotic' and 'expensive' if it were described this way...  ;D

This brings me to B&W's diamond dome tweeters...  It sounds
better that way than describing them more accurately as:
B&W's 'artificial' diamond dome tweeters.  ;D
(No offense meant to B&W and Monster speaker owners.)
