kt's HT and audio setup

hi guys! share ko lang some of my upgrades  ;D

old setup:


next:
 

tv: toshiba DLP 46hm94
speakers: mordaunt-short:  ms904, ms905c, ms903s
SW: velodyne cht10-r
avr: marantz sr4500
dvd player: pioneer dv686-a

current upgrades:
tv: Panasonic 50pv70
dvd player: Pioneer 600av







finally was able to fix my old table. colored it black as well...pwde na for now...hehe  ;D


changed my kolin avr to a yaden 2kva avr:

yup...according to a mag....home theater is no.1 sa wishlist ng isang married man pagdating sa toys/gears.  which often leads to some conflicts sa higher powers.......hahaha... ;D ;D

Pare hindi lang economy natutulungan natin kung hindi pati marriages na sasave natin,kasi sa dami investment natin sa hobby hindi na tuloy tayo makapagloko ;D kasi ang panakot ni misis ay sige ikaw ang aalis ng bahay at iwan mo mga laruan mo once nahuli kita. >:( ;D ;D ;D

Napangiti ako nung nakita ko yung change from old to new.  That was a big jump. The TV and the change of racks made a big difference.  Nice!!  :)

tnx bros! hirap nga mag DIY ng racks lalo na sa initial measurements! hehe

vtec3 ok naman yung MS...meron na new line ng mordaunt eh yung carnival6. i was able to try it yday n ok naman sya considering 2woofers na n kevlar na ba yun or woven lang n around 9t na sya! mukang pang tapat sa wharfes diamonds! hehe

Yup, I also auditioned the complete Carnival 6 series using Marantz 4500 amplifier initially nung music DVD (Eagles Live) very happy ako sa results, pero nung movies na yung test namin medyo bitin yung bass niya. Di kaya dahil hindi pa ito na break-in. Pero I am seriously considering buying this combo (actually incentive sa amin yan ng Honda for doing well during last quarter of last year)  ;D ;D ;D

Tried -5db during my Movie audition and hindi naman bumigay yung MS and k pa din yung tunog  ;)

bro vtec! ah thats good! try to audition other speakers as well baka may mas magustuhan ka pa eh. MS kasi tend to be more on detail n talo talaga sya sa bass factor when compared lalo na sa wharfes...n smaller woofers kasi sa MS than the wharfes kung mapansin mo. sakin ok naman sya coz may SW din naman ako to handle the LFEs :)

Nice set-up bro everytime I see the members posting their gears on the site makes me want to move in to our house even more :D

Where did you get the 46" toshiba wala ako makita sa mga stores na 46" only the larger sets, kay sonny b?
