That's what I have right now...solid wooden doors with decorative carvings and as of your suggestion, I installed seals around the door frame and that wiper thingie at the bottom of the door. It was a big help in reducing the sound coming from the door but there is still a little specially on violent action scenes and when the subwoofer is working out. bro if you'll use a door na may sand you'll be amaze. Kahit katukin mo halos hindi dinig sa other side, mas mabigat sya kaysa sa similar size na solid narra door. And the good part is mas mura sya kaysa sa solid door. Just use gypsum screw and a lot of stickwell. Don't use nails, bumibigay jay
