Yup pag-IR limited ang range although sa HT ko ok naman maski saang sulok. Basta make sure nasa line of sight and receiver and the remote.

Actually IR lang limited ang Logitech Harmony. If you plan to program an IR remote with the Harmony, you just use the USB IR receiver na kasama ng remote mo and pair it with the Harmony. No need to buy a separate receiver.

Di pako pwede magpuyat bro. Kelangan ng adequate rest para sa healing ng wounds. Sabi ng doctor ko at least 2 weeks rest pagkatapos ng operation.

Just bought a wireless RF Keyboard for full control of XBMC. Guess I wouldn't be needing the Harmony for HTPC. Realized that a keyboard is still a better navigator for HTPC rather than an IR remote.

A4Tech G6 Saver Model: GKS-770D

-I had 2 requirements: 1. small form factor 2. long range preferable RF. A4 Tech has the R7 which has a small form factor but the range is only 1.5m. What I got is a full sized keyboard but it is thin and light. The range of 10 meters RF was the selling factor for me not to mention the price.

Buffalo Wireless-N Nfiniti™ Router

-Performance is very good! I get good signal on hard to reach areas in the house now specially the bedroom CR.

I bought it for P3420. Cheapest N-router I saw so far!!!

Pareng Jake,

Go to the COMMDAPP convention in SMX near MOA. The convention started yesterday and will end this coming Sunday. There is a PJ side by side shootout there with brands such as Panasonic, Epson, Taxxan, Optoma, Sanyo, etc. The shootout though is for multimedia PJs lang. The WD has a booth and the WDTV HD media player is being demoed and sold there.

Bought the Buffalo router from a booth that sells Genius and Buffalo products katabi lang ng WD booth. The N-router I bought is the best priced router so far and it was easy hooking it up. Definitely had better coverage than my previous wireless G router. This is best used if you want to stream your HD files via Wifi to your NMT. If you get better signal, the transmission of data is faster.

Punta at bili na! Bro sarap pumunta doon specially kung puro techie kayo. Parang field trip ba!

Bro,

This is my 3rd router already. The 1st one I had was a Linksys portable router which had very little coverage in my house so I changed it with a PCI extended range router. It did the job ok but I had some drop out signals on hard to reach places and was contemplating on buying a range extender during that time which costs P3+++.

I am wishing that the N-routers would drop down to at least the P3k mark and I promised myself to buy it at this price. Then I saw the Buffalo Nfiniti at COMMDAPP.....and....happily ever after!
