Going to reply to this again since I just finished watching Shaun of the Dead tonight.

It's a budget DVD5 disc. No special features, DD5.1 sound. PQ is fair with some contrast issues evident during the nighttime interior pub scenes. SQ is superb, though. Really great rear speaker effects and spatial surrounds. Really deep thump on the bass.

It may be a DVD5 title but I highly recommend you snatch it up if you see it. It may be barebones but Shaun of the Dead is a very flattering homage to the genre and a must-have for horror and non-horror fans.

• Outtakes

Yuf, my GF has the R1 release, oddly enough. So I was glad just to get this one and not having to get my own R1 copy seeing as I've already seen the special features years ago pa.

Go look for it! Odyssey seems to be the only one that has "old" stocks of it. I saw one about a month ago at the SM Southmall branch but didn't get it. It was lucky I saw it again at the MOA sale and finally got it for just P199 even though it was marked P299. Bait nung sales clerk nila doon!
