I was at Astro Podium yesterday and planned to avail of the Buy 3 Free 6 promo. But when I got there I saw 3 titles that I "kind of" liked but couldn't see 6 movies that were really any good

No wonder they're giving it all away

So I just bought the Close Encounters of the Third Kind (3-Disc 30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition). It's a 2007 release but astro said it was so new they still hadn't even put it into their computer database yet. Go figure.

Saw this same buy 2 get 4 (all imported DVDs) Sale sa Odyssey Park Square.
Kaso wala silang titles that I like...found the 2 that I want (Zorro 1 and 2) but the other 4 I can't find any.
So I passed on it.

Close Encounters 3-disc is P1,200. All three versions of the movie (U.S. Theatrical, Special Edition, Director's Cut) in DTS. And a three part 30th anniv. documentary spread across all three discs. At, say, P400 a disc, not bad.

What is the packaging for the local release? Is it in a regular Amaray type case? I saw the R1 in Hong Kong & it is housed inside a nice & sturdy special cardboard box.
