Thanks for the kind comments, mga frens.

Sir aldrinpsx, wala akong HT sa haus.  Stereo setup lang sa haus, with 21" TV  ;D

Sir Audioboy, law office nga.  It's a townhouse unit purchased 10 years ago, converted to an office.  Pero very limited naman ang law practice ko.  It's not open to the public, and walang notaryo  ;D  Tumatagal lang ang gamit pag nagpapractice ng witness para sa trial. ;D ;D ;D

Sure, sir danrd.

Exquisite set-up there for a law office, Barrister.  If I should be arrested and charged with anything, I will surely contact you for my defense.  So after bail, I can work with you in your office on my case.   ;D   Care to PM me your contact details?

Thanks for the warm greetings, mga frens.

Thanks a lot, sir.  Marikina Heights.

Ganda ng law office mo sir barrister, more power! Question lang atty. .can we be charged of noise pollution in case na  mag reklamo ang neighbor pag malakas and sound ng HT natin?

Thanks a lot, bosing.

There's no crime of "noise pollution" in our statutes, and I'm not aware of any ordinances (laws of local application) penalizing it.

Don't confuse our laws with U.S. laws.  Sa U.S., there are many state laws and local ordinances penalizing excessive noise.  Their laws and ordinances usually define it as "any noise tending to unreasonably disturb the peace and quiet of the persons in the vicinity thereof."  It's usually classified as a Disorderly Conduct, for which a violator may be arrested, sentenced to short jail time and/or fined.  Most "loud noise complaints" involve loud parties.

In the Phil., kung maingay ang kapitbahay mo, pasensiya ka.  The most you can charge your neighbor with is unjust vexation, a very light offense under the Revised Penal Code -- baka ma-dismiss pa ng prosecutor.  Kasi I've never heard of anyone charged criminally for excessive noise in the Phil. before, so it's probably going to be unprecedented.  Sa civil case naman, puwede ang action for damages or an action for abatement of private or public nuisance with damages.  Pero ang mga ganitong civil actions for excessive noise ay mga talagang non-stop ang ingay, like noise from a Meralco substation.

For example: http://www.lawphil.net/judjuris/juri1971/aug1971/gr_18390_1971.html

Thanks a lot for the kind remarks, sir.

Actually nag-umpisa ang upgrade ko dahil sa RW-10.  Napadaan lang ako sa Spectra, nakita ko yung sub.  Ayun.  Upgrade na pati receiver and 5 speakers.

ok panyero. congrats again.

bakit limited lang? do you work in the government?

I prefer to spend more time on other small businesses.  It's easier on the nerves.  BIR lang ang problema.  Mahirap ang maraming kaso, panyero.  Tatanda ka agad sa kunsumisyon.  ;D ;D ;D

ok.i'm a law student.makes me want to study more to have that set up. ;D

That's great, panyero.  It's good to hear from a future colleague.

Ang hirap maging law student - palaging kulang ang oras, ano?  Konting tiyaga na lang.  Matatapos din ang kalbaryo.

Thanks for the compliment, idol!   YGPM.  Civil law lang ako (property, obligations & contracts), but with your high IQ, you'd make an excellent associate.  May you never need the services of a lawyer!   ;D ;D ;D

Salamat sa matatamis na papuri, mga kapatid!  :D

Sir MAtZTER, makalat din dito pag may trabaho, especially pag may deadline for filing in appellate courts.  For example, the Supreme Court requires petitions to be filed in 18 copies, so kung mga 50+ pages ang isang kopya including annexes, I have about a thousand pages being collated on a table.

But my policy is, pag tapos na ang trabaho, there should be absolutely nothing on the desks and tables -- not even a paper clip.  Otherwise, the desks will always -- as in ALWAYS -- have mountains of stuff on it.  And the clutter really drives me crazy!  :o ;D

And sir MAtZTER, umiiwas akong tumingin sa super bagsik na setup mo  ---  naiinggit lang kasi ako e!   ;D ;D ;D
