thanks sir! im biased with this trilogy as it is my favorite and could not wait for any sale and got it immediately like its DVD EE counterpart before. I saw FOTR last night but just comparing it to my DVD EE playing in my 42c10, picture quality is very good although I find it a bit darker compared to my DVD EE but overall im happy with my purchase. Im about to watch LOTR TTT. SQ i would say is excellent...

It should be darker. No problems there.

What's controversial is the green tint. If you didn't notice the green, then I guess the new release is good.

i guess there is a slight green tint if you look hard enough, but it didn't matter to me since i like the movie, and is definitely way better than my DVD EE copy.
