Shipped thru JAC New Jersey as the other forum members said para maliit ang tax. I ordered last JUNE 13, 2008 using my Citibank Mastercard, and shipped via standard shipping. When I called yesterday morning, JAC said my package was included in their shipment last JUNE 17, 2008 from New Jersey to Manila, and around 3:00 PM they texted me that my package was ready for pick-up at their Makati office. After that, it was a race against time between Parang, Marikina and Legaspi Village, Makati for their 5:00 PM closing time.

JAC charged me with PHP 491.00 & Citibank used $1 = PHP 46.06 rate, the average cost per disc is PHP 1,100.

Hi. Just to clarify, did JAC only charged you Php 491.00 for all of these? What's the weight? Did you picked up your package? From where? Makati or Megamall?

Sorry to ask, but I usually order at most 2 BDs in one package but I was never charged this small (491). It's always higher. Thanks!

JAC charged me 491.15 php to be exact for the whole package, I picked it up at their office in Makati, less than an hour before their closing time last Saturday. I shipped it to their NJ office as per instruction of Ms. Aura of JAC and from other PDVD members. I've been told by other users that approximately 4 BDs is to 1 pound, so that would make about 1.25 lbs.

only P491.15 for the 5 BDs? mura nga yan. I got charged P700+ before for only 2 BDs bec. Amazon put them in a bigger box. Per volume wt. kasi ang charge nila.

There seems to be inconsistency here. My last order (which I claimed from Megamall last Wednesday) of 2 BDs was packaged in the smallest Amazon box, and still I was charged also 700+.

Did I miss something? New JAC rules on charging perhaps? Or it depends on where you're going to pick the package up?
